HAITI OPERATIONS

Dustin Mix
E2E Co-Founder
Director of Operations, Haiti

 

Dustin holds bachelors and master’s degrees in civil engineering, as well as a master’s degree from the ESTEEM Program (Engineering, Science, and Technology Entrepreneurship) from the University of Notre Dame. He helped found E2E during the course of his master’s work under the direction of Tracy and Alex. After graduation, Dustin relocated to Léogâne, Haiti in October 2013 and has been directing E2E’s Haiti operations since. He is passionate about how engineering, entrepreneurship, innovation, and empowerment can be leveraged in development work, both domestically and abroad.  

Edson Jean
Community Representative

 

Edson is a native of Léogâne, Haiti. He is currently pursuing a degree in international development and law and also teaches English in multiple K-12 schools in the Léogâne area. He serves as a community representative for E2E, with responsibilities including translation, surveying, community programming, and community relations. Edson has been with E2E since December of 2011.

Gede Jean Benoit
Quality Control Engineer

 

Gede is a native of Léogâne, Haiti and holds a bachelors degree in civil engineering. Gede has extensive experience supervising construction projects for international organizations, including International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Red Cross. Gede is E2E’s first Quality Control Engineer hire and will be responsible for ensuring that the housing contractors follow E2E plans and specifications during construction. Gede has been with E2E since November 2014.

Lamarre Presuma
Community Representative

 

Lamarre is a native of Léogâne, Haiti. He is currently pursuing degrees in political science and law. Lamarre is also the president of a local community development organization called Resilience Haiti. He serves as a community representative for E2E, with responsibilities including translation, surveying, community programming, and community relations. Lamarre has been with E2E since December of 2011.
